Cancer & chronic illness

There are few things that change our world as intensely as a diagnosis of cancer or other chronic illness. A new diagnosis inspires questions of mortality, spirituality, and existential plight as much as day-to-day challenges of reorganizing lives, goals and schedules around treatments, flare-ups and recovery time. Along the way, we’re challenged to deal with issues in relationships, body image, fertility, sexuality, finances, stigma, and just about every other area of life. My years of providing support to people in beginning, middle, and end stages of disease, as well as transitioning to survivorship, has informed my mindfulness-based approach, grounded in both neurocognitive principles and experiential learning. Regardless of where you are in your cancer or illness journey, I aim to help you ponder these questions and listen closely to the answers.
