Counseling & Art Therapy for Adults

Whether you’ve been in counseling for years or you’ve never been on a therapist’s couch (or Zoom screen), I strive to make the experience as pleasant and stress-free as possible. For adults, I’m happy to accommodate requests for either virtual or in-person appointments as available.

Therapy is always at the pace that’s right for you: whether it’s weekly, biweekly or even monthly sessions. The first session is a collaboration to gather background information to formulate a tentative plan for working together. Together, we’ll identify the changes you want to see, and build a counseling relationship that nurtures and at times challenges you as we move toward your goals. Whether we explore process painting in the studio, immerse ourselves in a mindful walk in nature, or have a chat on the outdoor patio, I strive to create a safe, comfortable environment for you to relate to yourself in a new way - with curiosity and self-compassion. Through application of neuroscience, attachment theory, trauma-based and somatic work, ecotherapy, and mindfulness, among others, the goal of my eclectic approach is to help you develop a personalized, sustainable practice of mental, physical and spiritual well-being.
